Katie Hansen, DVM

Dr. Katie Hansen joined Vicksburg Animal Hospital in May 2019. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering in 2015 from Mississippi State University. She continued her education and achieved her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2019.

Dr. Hansen’s special area of interest in the field of veterinary medicine is surgery. She is an active member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA). Dr. Hansen and her husband Brad have 3 dogs named Ace, Brody, and Casper. When she is not working, she likes reading and spending time doing outdoor activities. Fun Fact: Dr. Hansen loves Great Danes!
